Neben den vielen jap. Läufern, die mal wieder 2:06, 2:07 etc. Zeiten wie am Fließband produzierten....


Rang 14 der für Ethan Shuley (USA) in 2:07,14 h. Das ist Nr. 7 All-time in den USA. Noch interessanter ist jedoch seine Geschichte.

At the Osaka Marathon, BYU alum and former Kentucky high school standout Ethan Shuley ran 2:07:14 to become the 7th-fastest American marathoner.
Just two years ago, he had a personal best of 2:20:53. Last year, he ran two marathons: 2:18:13 for 5th place at Nagano Marathon in April and then 2:11:30 for a runner-up finish at the Kobe Marathon in November.
Shuley is based in Shinjuku, Japan as a film student. He documents his training and life there on his YouTube channel.
