An anderer Stelle schonmal geschrieben, aber ich wiederhole es gerne:
Mit jeder Nominierungsdiskussion wird mir das amerikanische Trialssystem sympathischer. Bei allen Unwägbarkeiten (Verletzung, Krankheit, schlechte Tagesform des Favoriten) ist es letztlich das gerechteste System.
Keine willkürlich aufgestellten Regeln und Normen, keine Bevorzugung bestimmer Athleten oder Wettkämpfe - die nominierbaren Top Drei sind dabei. Diskussionen wie diese hier gibt es in amerikanischen Foren nicht
