Dafür würde ein pacer, der nach der ersten Runde aussteigt, allerdings auch nicht so viel helfen. Vielleicht sind die momentanen Zeiten echt das Maximum, was sie drauf hat und nicht die vorher von vielen vermuteten 1:50-52.
Semenyas 1000m-Rennen neulich war gut gepacet und gut gelaufen, das schien mir auch das Maximum.

Ja, ich kann mich daran noch erinnern. Er spricht sehr gutes Englisch, trainiert er in USA?
Die 800 m Frauen waren nicht das einzige Rennen, bei dem ich froh war, dass mit den Cheerleadern wenigstens etwas Weibliches im Ziel zu sehen war.

Ich weiß, ich habe hier zwar nicht allzu viele Postings, aber lese doch gerne und seit langem immer wieder mit. Demnach wäre ein meine Erinnerung auffrischender Link direkt zu genanntem Beitrag ziemlich hilfreich. Danke!

Die Körpergröße fehlt halt ein bisschen. Ich glaube nicht, dass er ganz in Bolts Dimensionen wird vordringen können . Doch konstant GUT ist er jedenfalls.
Ich glaube ja das bolts Körpergröße kein faktor ist, lyles ist um die 1,80 wie fast alle Weltrekordler vor bolt.
solange es keine anderen 1,95 top Sprinter gibt muss man bolt als outlier betrachten. Bolt war einfach schnell.

Na ja, es geht um die Bein- und somit Schrittlänge. Von "kein Faktor" würde ich da nicht sprechen. Dass Bolt all jene Weltrekordler "vor Bolt" überflügelte, könnte ja auch darauf hindeuten, dass es was damt zu tun haben könnte. Klar, durch 'ne höhere Frequenz ließe sich das irgendwie kompensieren, doch gerade bei Bolts 200m WR war zur Schrittlänge auch seine Schrittfrequenz ganz gut.
Ergo, noch glaube ich nicht an einen neuen 200m WR durch Lyles, den dieser ja bereits für irgendwann mal angekündigt hat.
Aber ja: zu schlagen ist er zurzeit kaum; das erinnert schon an Bolt.
