@ Joel H: Ich bin ganz auf Deiner Seite. Wind bei Sprint und Weitsprung sowie die Bahnverteilung bei 200 m / 400 m haben sicherlich einen größeren Einfluss auf die Ergebnisse, als das zehntelgenaue Starten bei der abschließenden Mittelstrecke.
Nicht nur für den Zuschauer ist der Kampf Mann gegen Mann bzw. Frau gegen Frau interessanter. Auch als Wettkämpfer finde ich ihn wichtig. Meine Kinder hatten bei Stadtläufen schon öfter sehr knappe Zieleinläufe, durch die Nettozeitnahme wusste man aber erst nach der offiziellen Ergebnisliste, wie die Reihenfolge wirklich war
Bekommen die Mehrkämpfer vor dem abschließenden Lauf Start-Nummer nach der Reihenfolge, sind i.d.R. auch Vorsprünge von mehr als einer Runde gut zu unterscheiden. Bei den 800 m wäre es sogar noch einfacher, wenn die ersten 500 m analog der 4 x 4 gelaufen werden würde und erst dann geht es in die Innenbahn.
