Das ist richtig, dass Athleten sich dann meines Erachtens selbst entscheiden können. Ich möchte aber folgendes dazu sagen. Ich würde niemals aus Opposition zum DLV Sportfeste absagen, die wertvoll von der Planung her sind. So schief sollte die Karre nicht laufen. Ich würde schon im Gespräch mit dem Verband bleiben wollen und meinen Standpunkt untermauern und begründen und nicht einfach Sachen aus reiner Opposition absagen. Wie du mir, so ich dir, halte ich für eine sehr schlechte Basis. Ich hatte immer wichtige Gründe für mein Verhalten. Irgendwie sitzen wir ja doch alle in demselben Boot.
Würde ich nicht an einem TL in Kienbaum mit einem Athleten teilnehmen wollen, hätte ich sicherlich als Gründe die wesentlich besseren individuellen Bedingungen zu Hause und den nicht auftretenden "Lagerkoller". Diese idividuellen Feinheiten sollte man auch von Verbandsseite beachten, ohne die Trainer in die "Querulantenecke" zu schieben. Ich gehe immer sehr individuell vor und forciere Einflüsse nach meinen Erfahrungen. Es gibt sicherlich auch Konstruktionen, die einfach nicht zusammenpassen. Man kann z. B. einen sehr akribischen Wolfgang Heinig nicht mit oberflächlichen Athletinnen kombinieren. Das passt einfach nicht zusammen. Auch ich bin nicht kompatibel mit inkonsequenten Athleten und Athletinnen. Da ziehe ich dann aber auch selbst sehr frühzeitig die Reißleine. Wenn der DLV auf der anderen Seite konsequenten Teams Freiheiten lässt, weil er sich auf deren hervorragende Arbeit verlassen kann, wäre das ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung.
Das erklärte Höchstziel sind nun mal die WM und OS. Ich empfinde es als sehr richtig, wenn der DLV dort bei Förderung Präsenz erwarten kann.
