Mockis Aussagen über sich selbst kann man nur bedingt trauen. Sie ist eine spezielle Persönlichkeit. Sie will zu viele Erwartungen erfüllen und scheint oft nicht genau zu wissen, was ihre eigenen Erwartungen sind. Ihre Umfänge waren nie außergewöhnlich hoch, dass allein war sicher auch 2011 nicht das Problem.
Außerdem kommen Ermüdungsbrüche selbst bei Amateuren und vernünftigen Umfangssteigerungen vor, das ist nicht immer absehbar. Eine wie Mocki sucht die Schuld bei sich, andere würden sagen: Pech gehabt und wären damit vielleicht näher an der Wahrheit.
Wie lor-olli schon ähnlich schrieb: Man muss sich schon der Grenze der Belastbarkeit annähern, sonst hat man wenig Chancen in der Spitze.

Das Hauptproblem bei sehr gut trainierten LäuferInnen sind die "mentalen Körner". Daher kann es wirklich problematisch sein, 3 volle Marathons in einem Jahr zu laufen. Das werden aber die Hahners z. B. nicht tun. Canova ist einer, der sehr darauf achtet, dass da die Abstände stimmen. Das ist auch ein Grund, warum es sehr sinnvoll sein, auf voll gelaufene HMs zu verzichten, auch wenn eine PB drin wäre.
Wieder: Nicht mit Ratschlägen für Hobbyjogger verwechseln, für die sind die vollen HMs meist sinnvoll, die können sich im Training auch oft nicht so quälen wie Spitzenläufer.

Und ehrlich gesagt würde ich mich nicht wundern, wenn seine Gruppe nächstes Jahr nicht mehr komplett ist.
