Die Autorin hat laut Facebook an einer deutschen Eliteuni studiert. Anscheinend wurde dort nicht Geografie gelehrt. Nebenbei sollte man als Leichtathletik-Journalistin wissen, dass noch nie eine WM auf amerikanischen Boden stattfand. Leider hatte Eugene bei der Bewerbung für die WM gegen Doha keine Chance. Dies ist aber eine andere Geschichte. Ich bin mal gespannt, wie es die Athleten hinbekommen sich im Sommer zu qualifizieren und dann im Oktober ihre Topleistung anzubieten. Vielleicht zahlen die Katharsis für den Marathon eine Antrittsprämie. Ansonsten laufen die Topstars ausschließlich in New York, Frankfurt und Berlin.
