Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Fehlstarts sehr selten wären. Im Wintersport kommen sie auch so gut wie gar nicht vor. Und wenn, werden die Zuschauer schon nach einer Minute darüber informiert, dann ist selbst ein 800 Meter Lauf noch nicht zu Ende.
Aber zugegebenermaßen wird da ja wie gesagt beim Start auch auf Sekundenabstände auf- oder abgerundet, und das ist auf so kurzen Distanzen wie in der Leichtathletik wohl nicht drin. Spätestens daran sollte es dann auch zurecht scheitern.
Wenn wir aber schon beim Wintersport sind. Da regt sich doch auch kein Zuschauer auf, wenn alle hintereinander losgelassen werden und auch nicht derjenige gewonnen hat, der als erster im Ziel ist.
Aber insgesamt halte ich die Idee bei 800 oder 1500 m und der augenblicklichen Punktetabelle im Mehrkampf für sagen wir mal vorsichtig nicht gerade durchdacht. Beim Biathlon und Skilanglauf geht es über mind. 7,5 km und auch beim modernen Fünfkampf über 3 oder 5 km.
Aber da bei der IAAF sowieso niemand am Mehrkampf interessiert ist, könnte so eine Schwachsinnsidee auch durchgewinkt werden.
