Ich meine die Weltrekorde der M40. Lagat alleine kann wohl schon alle von 1500 bis 10000m brechen. Dann Kim Collins die 100 ...
Ob Haile nochmal einen m40 Rekord angreift, mal sehen. Bei ihm gibt es ja Gerüchte, dass er eigentlich deutlich älter sei ... und da werden eben noch andere kommen die jetzt noch in den 30ern sind.
Klar werden weiter viele zwischen 30 und 35 aufhören. Aber das kann eben viele Ursachen haben und muss nicht am körperlichen "verfall" liegen.
Wenn man die Rekordlisten genauer ansieht, findet man viele Indizien dafür, dass die M40 Rekorde nicht schwach sind, weil die Menschen in der Phase schon so stark abbauen. Sondern weil bisher eben die meisten Leistungsportler da schon aufgehört haben.
Ursache und Wirkung lassen sich nicht immer so leicht bestimmen, wie manche hier meinen. Ein Christian Reif hat aufgehört in dem Jahr, in dem er PB sprang ... hat er aufgehört, weil er körperlich abgebaut hat?
Und die WR der älteren ... es gibt da immer Ausnahemtalente, die Rekorde abliefern, die schwer zu knacken sind. Nicht jedes Jahr wird ein Ed Whitlock geboren. aber da wird sich natürlich auch andere kommen.
Ewige Jugend ist Quatsch, den ich nicht schreiben würde. Aber die Lebenserwartung ist eben gestiegen und die Fitness vieler älterer auch.
