Dort findet man folgende Informationen:

The Organiser – shall cover full board accommodation (in twin rooms) for up to 6 athletes (one male and one female athletes in each of the respective elite races) and up to 2 team officials per Member Federation for up to 3 (three) nights.

Also zumindest ein Drittel des Teams muss nicht zelten

Preliminary Entries: Not later than 3 (three) months (14:00 CET) before the first day of the European Running Championships, each European Athletics Member Federation shall send to European Athletics (usually via the teams’ on-line entry system) a preliminary list of entries, indicating its anticipated numbers of athletes per elite event and the numbers of accompanying officials.

Diese Liste muss es also schon vor einem Monat gegeben haben 


Und natürlich das wenig überraschende Highlight:

Each European Athletics Member Federation may enter a maximum of 8 (eight) athletes in each event, of which a maximum of 6 (six) may participate.

Wenn man also nur drei schickt, riskiert man:

A team finishing with fewer than 3 (three) athletes will not be classified in the team result.
