Für mich klingt das so, als ob sie da schon im Schwellenbereich unterwegs wären?
Das ist vergleichbar mit dem, was auch in Nordamerika z.T. im Warm-up praktiziert wird, wo zumindest ein Teil des Einlaufens in dem Tempobereich absolviert wird, den man in Deutschland als GA2-Dauerlauf bezeichnen würde. Zielsetzung dabei ist, im Warm-up bereits die Sauerstoffaufnahme zu aktivieren, damit bei den späteren Intervallen von Beginn an ein relativ hoher Prozentsatz der VO2max erreicht wird. Ein Programm wie 10x300 Meter kommt so dann auf annähernd 3 Kilometer reizwirksam im VO2max-Bereich. Bei einem "einfachen" Eintraben würden locker die ersten 2, ggf 3 Läufe nicht diese Auslastung erreichen, wären aber genauso anstregend (bzw. sogar mehr). Will heißen: Man hätte nur 2,5 oder 2 Kilometer reizwirksam und höhere Laktatwerte, weil anfangs mehr Energie anaerob bereitgestellt werden muss, was wiederum die Sauerstoffaufnahme hemmen kann.
