Aerobes Training ist bei weitem nicht nur Dauerlauf. Und Meuwly setzt z.B. viel aerobes Training ein, aber eben gerade kaum Dauerläufe.
Es gibt übrigens seit kurzem eine 400/800 Konzeption auch im DLV - allein es hält sich keiner dran.
Ich würde gerade bei den Leuten die von 400 auf 800 umsteigen und sich dann auf 400 verbessern sogar das aerobe nur indirekt als Grund sehen. Meist ist es so, dass gerade im Umstiegsjahr besonders viel aerob gemacht wird und wenig Gaballer, weil man glaubt was aufholen zu müssen. Dies führt dazu, dass die Laktatbildungsrate sinkt. Und häufig ist diese zunächst viel zu hoch auch bei 400 Meter Läufern, weil man stupide ständig SA-Programme und Co feuert. Dann kann deine aerobe Ausdauer noch so gut sein, du kannst sie im Wettkampf gar nicht abrufen. Ein Indiz dafür dass sowas der Fall ist, ist auch wenn die Wettkampfleistungen massiv schwanken, was bei Deutschen Langsprintern und 800-Meter-Läufern ja auch oft vorkommt...
