Das geht aber am Punkt vorbei, den wir herausheben wollten: Dass sich 400m-Läuferinnen nach dem Umstieg auf die 800m über 400m verbessern, legt die Vermutung nahe, dass sie bis dahin zu wenig aerobe Audauer trainiert haben.
Darüber, ob man als 400m-Läuferin diese mit Dauerläufen trainieren muss, oder ob es da bessere Trainingsmittel gibt, kann man sicher streiten, aber zu funktionieren scheint es ausweislich der obigen Beispiele in einigen Fällen schon.
