Für Nicht-Leichtathleten ist der Unterschied zw. Diamond League und Gold/Silber-Meetings derselbe Unterschied wie zw. Champions League und Europa/Conference League. Meiner Meinung nach. In der DL hast du die Chance auf Lyles, deGrasse, Ingebrigtsen, Alfred, Thomas, Bol,.. und du hast die Chance, dass sie gegeneinander antreten. Das hast du bei Gold/Silber nur teilweise.
Für Nicht-Leichtathleten wäre es wichtig ein wiederkehrendes Event zu haben, was sie kennen, was sie verstehen. Mit Athleten, die sie kennen, die sie verstehen.. Da ist eine Serie einfacher zu vermitteln, als Einzelevents. Ja, die DL ist auch noch nicht die top Lösung, eher weit weg davon. Aber im Moment noch der einzige Ansatz in die richtige Richtung. Ich hoffe allgemein darauf, dass ich bei den Formaten noch deutlich mehr tut und sich endlich ein gutes Eventformat etablieren kann.
Ja, Hauptverantwortung liegt bei WA/EA, aber als DLV bist du in den Kommissionen mit dabei, hast Sitze in den Conferences. Du hast per se Einfluss den du geltend machen kannst, theoretisch. Musst du aber natürlich nicht.
