Es ist viel (Werbe-)Lesestoff mit meist unwichtigen Inhalten, trotzdem lohnt es sich hin und wieder einige paper zu lesen.
Carbonschuhe sind mittlerweile gut bekannt und im Marathonbereich fast schon ein "alter Hut", ABER, obgleich die Grundkonstruktion allen Herstellern bekannt ist, sind es oftmals die kleinen Verbesserungen, die einen Unterschied ausmachen können und da probiert jeder selbst. Neue cushions, Gelpolster, Positionierung, Formgebung bei der Carbonplatte, Individualisierung für Athlet, Gewicht, Schuhgröße etc.
Das generelle Problem bleibt aber, dass der Athlet / die Athletin die Vorteile auch ausreizen kann, das klappt bei weitem nicht immer und die Streubreite ist ordentlich. Anfangs hatten z.B. insbesondere die leichten Frauen mit den Carbon-Marathonschuhen so ihre Probleme mit der Instabilität in den Kurven, das hat einige Zeit gebraucht, bis man das im Griff hatte - wird bei den Sprintspikes nicht anders sein, zumal hier die Variationsmöglichkeiten aufgrund der Vorgaben deutlich geringer sind (weniger Material, flacherer Aufbau).
Doping? Das wird leider nicht aus der Welt zu schaffen sein, aktuell sehe ich da aber nicht so das Riesenproblem, dennoch gibt es speziell bei der Individualisierung und dem "Maßschneiden" (CRISPR/Cas9) von Medikamenten eine Entwicklung, die z.B. die Sauerstoffversorgung bei Krebspatienten erheblich verbessern können. Bis zur Entwicklung fertiger Medikamente wird es noch einige Jahre dauern, aber das hat z.B. in Italien im Radsport viele nicht daran gehindert, Produkte vor der Markteinführung, Zulassung und offizieller Produktion auszuprobieren. Ob sich solche Manipulationen nachweisen lassen? Vermutlich schon, aber mit einiger zeitlichen Verzögerung - die Nachweise müssen schließlich gerichtsfest sein, die Experimente nicht.
