Attraktiv ist, was den Leuten gefällt, nicht was ihnen theoretisch zu gefallen hat. Es ist also immer auch subjektiv und von Person zu Person zumindest in Teilen unterschiedlich.
Gibt es irgendeinen Beleg dafür, dass sich durch das Final 3 Format scharenweise neue Zuschauer für diese Disziplinen oder gar für die Leichtathletik insgesamt interessieren? Falls das nämlich nicht so ist, liegt die Schlussfolgerung nahe, dass das neue Format bei den alteingesessenen Hasen (egal ob Sportler, Fans, Betreuer, Kommentatoren) größtenteils auf Ablehnung stößt, während diejenigen, die sich früher nicht dafür interessiert haben, das immer noch nicht tun. Ich sehe da keinen Gewinn.
Und wo es attraktiver ist, wenn die Sportler irgendwelche Sicherheitsversuche machen, um nur ja keinen ungültigen zu riskieren, weiß ich auch nicht. Die Attraktivität ist für mich zumindest eher da, wenn z.B. der zweitplatzierte Springer oder Werfer schon eine gute Leistung hat und im letzten Versuch alles oder nichts gehen muss und auch kann, um die Bestweite noch zu knacken.
