Meiner Meinung nach ist es deutlich realistischer dass ein Deutscher 13.30 über die 110 m Hürden/48.50 über die 400 m Hürden/8:15 über die 3000 m Hindernisse läuft als 10.00 (bei einer WM/Olympia) über die 100 m/44.50 über die 400 m/7:31.50 über die 3000 m (Äquivalent zu 3:31 über die 1500 = Zeit die man wohl etwa drauf haben muss um international eine Medaille zu gewinnen). In diesem Sinne wäre es mMn deutlich sinnvoller sich (in der Förderung) auf die Disziplinen zu konzentrieren, in denen man realistischerweise ein WM-/Olympia-Finale erreichen kann. Ich verstehe aus Sicht der Athleten, dass man lieber die 100 m/400 m statt der 110 m Hürden/400 m Hürden läuft, da es dort reicht unter den Top 6 in Deutschland zu sein um relativ "sicher" bei einer WM/Olympia dabei zu sein, aber aus Verbandssicht wäre es mMn "besser" 1 oder 2 Athleten zu haben die das Finale erreichen und eventuell eine Medaille gewinnen als 1 oder 2 Staffeln die relativ chancenlos im Vorlauf ausscheiden. Aus meiner Sicht ist es auch nicht unbedingt sinnvoll/fair, wenn man über die 100 m "nur" unter den Top 6 in Deutschland sein muss um sich zu qualifizieren, während man in den meisten anderen Disziplinen eine bestimmte Leistung erbringen muss die oft nur die Top 20-30 Athleten weltweit erreichen. Ich würde es besser finden, wenn man z.B. nur dann eine Staffel nominieren, wenn 4 Athleten die Einzelnorm haben oder wenn der Durschschnitt der Top 4 unter der Einzelnorm liegt.(06.09.2020, 19:54)Nanobot schrieb: Als Laie frage ich mich, wie sinnvoll es ist sich so früh schon auf die Hürden (100/110/400 m) zu spezialisieren?Hürdentraining schließt das Sprinttraining nicht aus. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass den deutschen Spezialisten oft einfach die Schnelligkeit fehlt, wodurch man selbst bei perfekter Technik international kaum eine Chance auf Medaillen ist.
