Müssen wir hier eigentlich tatsächlich versuchen Twitter und Facebook Konkurrenz zu machen?
Zur genetischen Disposition gibt es mittlerweile einige Ansätze und Erklärungen weshalb manche geographischen Regionen bestimmte genetische Merkmale stärker bevorteilen als andere (bevorteilt haben, das relativiert sich Zeiten der Globalisierung und der verstärkten Mobilität!).
Leben in Höhenlage (Äthiopien, Kenia) kombiniert mit einer Lebensweise die viel Gehen und Laufen erfordert, sollte uns nicht mit einer Anpassung und Bevorteilung der dort Lebenden überraschen. Höhere Laktosetoleranz und ein leichterer/schneller Anstieg des Erythropoietinlevels unter hypoxischem Stress (Höhenlage) sind eine Folge - nicht zuletzt versuchen viele Athleten durch Höhentraining dies zu erreichen. Es ist aber ein Unterschied, ob es eine individuelle Anpassung ist, oder eben eine genetisch über viele Generationen entwickelte… (bzgl. der Zahl der Profiteure). Warum gilt dies dann nicht für Menschen die in noch größerer Höhe leben (Anden, Himalaya)? Hier ist die Sauerstoffdichte noch extremer, aber diese Menschen leben auch in einem Tempo und auf eine Art und Weise, zu der Laufen nicht gehört, alles erfolgt in einem sehr gemäßigtem Tempo und die Muskulatur ist oft anders ausgebildet (kürzere Extremitäten gegen Kälteverluste, weniger stark durchblutete Muskulatur). Ein weiterer Punkt ist, dass ab etwa 2400 - 3000m andere Aspekte negative Einflüsse auf die Dauerlaufgeschwindigkeit haben (starke Leistungsabnahme, gefährlich hohe Erythropoietinkonzentrationen bei Nichtangepassten etc.)
Für Sprinter / Sprintfähigkeit gilt ähnliches (Anpassung ganzer Bevölkerungspruppen) unter den dann anderen Voraussetzungen.
Das man hier keine 1:1 Umsetzung erwarten darf sollte unter den Variationen bei der evolutionären Entwicklung auch klar sein. Es wird immer Sprinter, Langstreckler geben die bis in die Spitze gelangen, aber nicht aus den angesprochenen Regionen kommen. Die Hautfarbe ist eine Anpassung an das Licht, das Laufvermögen eine Anpassung an die Lebensumstände, sie sind nicht ursächlich miteinander verbandelt! (Oder warum kommen z.B. aus Australien / Ozeanien unter der sehr dunkelhäutigen Bevölkerung keine Top-Läufer?)
Wie so oft ergibt eine dediziert dezidierte Betrachtung kein pauschales Ergebnis - unbefriedigend und nichtausreichend für Populisten, weswegen dann zu "Schlagworten" gegriffen, oder bestimmte Aspekte schlicht verleugnet werden…
