Wäre dem DLV ein Zacken aus der Krone gebrochen, wenn man in den Nominierungsrichtlinien klar gesagt hätte, dass angestrebt wird, vollständige Teams zu entsenden? Stattdessen steht die Cross-WM noch nichtmal in den Nominierungsrichtlinien drin, wenn ich nichts übersehen habe. Das sagt doch einiges über den Stellenwert des Crosslaufs im DLV aus.
Crosslauf ist aus meiner Sicht für Läufer essentiell, eine entsprechende Zusage des DLV hätte vielleicht einige motiviert, nicht in Flagstaff oder Stellenbosch die Sonne zu genießen, sondern mal wieder richtig im Matsch zu spielen
Wieso eigentlich unterbrechen? Man könnte das als essentiellen Teil des Trainingsprozesses sehen, so wie das Generationen früherer Läufer auch getan haben. Wenn man das Zitat liest, könnte man den Eindruck bekommen, dass ein Start bei der Cross-WM Form kostet oder den Trainingsprozess negativ beeinflusst, beides möchte ich entschieden bestreiten und eher behaupten, dass es sich leistungsfördernd für die Bahnsaison auswirken würde.
