Hallo,
aus aktuellem Anlass werde ich hier in den nächsten Tagen mal ein paar Gedanken zu dem Thema ausbreiten. Denn es ist offenbar, dass viele Reporter bei Live-Übertragungen aber auch einige Fans hier im Forum extrem problematische Vorstellungen haben, wie Spurtsiege auf der Langstrecke erreicht werden.
Häufig höre oder lese ich folgendes
Mythos #1
"Der Läufer bzw die Läuferin mit der größten Grundschnelligkeit gewinnt das Rennen."
gerne verbunden mit
Mythos #2
"Läufer A hat die schnellere 1500m PB als Läufer B, also wird A im Spurt in diesem 5000m Rennen gegen B gewinnen"
Beides ist so pauschal ziemlich großer Unsinn, wird aber leider immer wieder wiedergekäut. Warum das Unsinn ist und wer in welchem Spurtrennen wirklich die besten Siegchancen hat, dazu später mehr.
