Das habe ich mir auch so gedacht, wer bei der DM bei sommerlich heißen Bedingungen von 30°C aus dem Stand und ohne jeglichen Druck locker eine 3:59 min läuft, der kann unter Konkurrenzbedingungen wie bei einer WM wo es um etwas geht, eine 3:56 - 3:57 min laufen. Das merkt man auch daran, dass sie jede Runde schneller wurde und die Schlussrunde in 62 s runtergeballert hat. Bisher waren ihre alle Rennen noch lange kein Optimum, was mir zeigt, dass da schon noch Reserven gibt. Und jetzt mit einem gut dotierten Sponsorenvertrag in der Tasche, lässt es sich es noch entspannter an die Sache herangehen. Ich kanns jetzt schon kaum abwarten bis die WM in London nächste Woche losgeht.
Also ich denke zwar, dass Klosterhalfen gut abschneiden wird und in beiden Läufen unter die Top 10 kommt, aber eine realistische Medaillenchance sehe ich leider in beiden Wettbewerben nicht.
Ich glaube gar nicht mal das KK ein so schnelles rennen braucht. Sie ist die 800 m unter 2m gelaufen und unter optimalen Bedingungen mit einem etwas langsameren Anfang wäre da vielleicht auch eine 1:58 drin gewesen.
bei 1200 Meter bummeln und dann 300m Sprint hätte sie keine Chance, aber mit richtig schnellen letzten 700m könnte sie auch was reißen. Genzebe ist da sicher stärker und Hassan auch, aber Muir und kipyegon sind da auf 800m nicht unbedingt schneller.
eine langsame runde am Anfang kann sich KK durchaus leisten, das war bei der DM ja auch so. Es sollte halt nicht länger als 500-600m gebummelt werden.

Das Rennen im Paris war auf den ersten 700m extrem schnell, 1:49, da hatte sogar Hassan auf den letzten 800m zu kämpfen. In Eugene dagegen 1:56 für die ersten 700m und hintenraus dafür sehr schnell.
Ich gebe auch zu bedenken, dass nicht nur das reine läuferische Leistungsvermögen, sondern auch die Taktik eine Rolle spielt. In Rio z.B. hat sie nach eigener Aussage ein taktisch unzufriedenstellendes Rennen gemacht. Sie ist zwar sicherlich taktisch besser geworden nach einem Jahr, aber perfekt ist keiner.
Ich glaube nicht wirklich an ein extrem langsames Rennen in LOndon, ich sehe Muir als Interessensgefährtin von Koko, die wohl auch aufs Tempo drücken muss (vielleicht nicht vom Start, aber letzte schnelle 1000), und das kommt Koko entgegen. Wie man Hassan schlagen soll, weiß ich auch nicht - die kann alles,schnell oder langsam und ist klare Favoritin. Genzebe bräuchte meiner meinung nach ein etwas langsameres Rennen. Es ist aber alles hoch interessant - insgesamt zu wenige direkte Vergleiche der Top-Leute bisher und wenn, dann liegen die mittlerweile auch schon wieder fast 2 Monate zurück. Schon schön, über Quervergleiche über mögliche Szenarien/Rennverläufe zum Titel/Medaillen zu spekulieren und Koko ist mitten drin.

Im Finale wahrscheinlich nicht, aber zunächst muss einmal Vorlauf und Halbfinale überstanden werden - und da ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit für Bummelrennen durchaus gegeben, die die Ergebnisse doch zu Gunsten der "Sprinter" und zu Ungunsten der "Tempobolzer" verzerren können. Klosterhalfen muss wohl also schon in den Vorrunden viel Tempo selbst machen, um nicht einem Bummelrennen zum Opfer zu fallen.
