Wobei die 30 min-Marke über 10.000m nochmal ne ganz andere Hausnummer ist als die 15 min-Marke über 5.000m. Momentan würde Klosterhalfen wohl eher um sub 31 min kämpfen.

Es ist einzig und allein davon abhängig, ob das TV die Chance erkennt und dann entsprechend aufbereitet und kommentiert an den "Konsumenten" bringt, ob dieser die Faszination eines technischen Wettbewerbs begreift, nachvollziehen kann und sich mitreißen lässt - auch als Laie! Ich kann mich noch gut an das Hammerwurf-Finale 97 in Athen erinnern, als Heinz Weis als Mitfavorit an den Start ging und seine Konkurrenten mehrmals konterte um schlussendlich souverän zu gewinnen. Ob bzw. wie das im Fernsehen übertragen wurde, keine Ahnung, live war es auf jeden Fall sehr spannend.

Da stimme ich gern zu, hängt aber auch für die Laien eben sehr vom Moderator ab - ein Poschmann ist da sicher keine große Stütze. (DER musste sein, ich war des öfteren doch so genervt, dass ich den Ton wegdrehen musste…)
Letztlich ziehen aber, gerade wenn es mal nicht um Goldmedaillen bei Olympia geht definitv die Läufer den "einfachen Sportzuschauer", aber auch die Medien eher. Guggst Du hier > http://www.n-tv.de/sport/der_sport_tag/F...81565.html (oder kommt das jetzt nur, weil gerade kein Fußball angesagt ist? ) Ich wünsche Klosterhalfen, dass sie wirklich weiter so unbeeindruckt vom Rummel bleibt, wie es bisher den Anschein hat.

Die beste Werbung für die Field Events wäre wahrscheinlich das Dreisprung-Finale von den olympischen Spielen in Mexiko 1968. Vor den Spielen stand der WR des Polen Schmidt bei 17.03m, es gab weltweit nur zwei 17m Springer, der Finne Pousi war der zweite. In der Qualifikation sprang der Italiener Gentile 17.10m, der erste Weltrekord. Und dann gings los:
In der ersten Runde im Finale sprang Gentile 17.22m, WR No2. In der zweiten Runde Prudencio BRA 17.05, vierter 17m Springer der Welt. In der dritten Runde Sanejew URS 17.23m, WR No3 und fünfter 17m Springer der Welt. In der vierten Runde May AUS 17.02m, sechster 17m Springer der Welt. In der fünften Runde Dudkin URS 17.09m, siebter 17m Springer der Welt. Drei Sprünge später ebenfalls in der fünften Runde Prudencio 17.27m, WR No4. Im letzten Durchgang Walker USA 17.12m, achter 17m Springer der Welt. Und schließlich springt Viktor Sanejew im letzten Versuch des Wettbewerbs 17.39m, WR No5 und Goldmedaille. Vier Weltrekorde in einem Wettkampf, fünf Springer über dem alten WR, sechs über 17m, was davor nur zwei gelang. Man stelle sich vor, was heutzutage in den Social Media, den Medien und hier im Forum los wäre, wenn wir so ein Spektakel erleben dürften. Valar aus is. Vorhin kam ja auch schonmal der Marathon ins Spiel, der noch ganz weit weg ist.

was mich bei den deutschen Sprinterinnen etwas irrietiert, ist , dass sie ihre besten Zeiten meist im Anschluß an ein Trainigslager erzielen, also am Saisonanfang, dann geht es bergab.
Täusche ich mich da und wenn nein, woran liegt das ?

Vor allem natürlich die Höhenlage. Aber auch die doch sehr dubiosen Windmessungen (wurde das nicht hier mal diskutiert)? Ich hab's jetzt nicht genau im Kopf und auch keine Zeit/Lust das zu recherchieren. Aber es gab glaub ich erstaunlich viele +2,0m/s... mit ner Wahrscheinlichkeit für rein zufälliges Eintreten wie zweimal nen 6er im Lotto oder so ähnlich. Trotzdem natürlich ein gigantischer Wettkampf. Insgesamt find ich's schon bemerkenswert, wie häufig die techn. Disziplinen (ohne Hoch/Stab) noch mal mit dem allerlezten Versuch umgebogen werden. Würde dazu gerne mal ne Statistik sehen (vielleicht täusch ich mich ja auch, denke aber nicht). |
