Man muss bei diesen Verletzungen von unterschiedlichen Voraussetzungen ausgehen:
Ein Muskelfaserriss kann durch zu starke Belastung, zu schnelle, unkoordinierte Bewegung, Ermüdung oder zu plötzliche Anforderung (Sprint ohne genügende Erwärmung / Vorbereitung) entstehen.
Ein Bruch entsteht in der Regel durch äußere Gewalteinwirkung oder schweren Sturz, ein Ermüdungsbruch baut sich aber anders, vor allem langsam auf. Durch eine zu intensive, aber gleichmäßige Belastung (lange Läufe etwa) bei gleichzeitig nicht ausreichender Regeneration und / oder falscher Ernährung (Gewicht reduzieren lese ich hier immer wieder…), erfolgt eine schleichende Unterversorgung des Stoffwechsels (z.B. mit Mineralien), der Körper zieht sich die für die Leistung benötigten Stoffe aus den System - bis hin zum Knochen (Kalzium), dieser verliert an Stabilität.
Wird der Knochen aber gleichzeitig ständig an den Muskelansätzen gefordert, werden die Muskel zwar stärker, der Knochen aber schwächer, es bilden sich Microrisse, die man in einem normalen CT nicht erkennt. (Schmerzen, scheinbar ohne Ursache).
Bänder- / Sehnenabrisse können die Folge sein (Sehne selbst bleibt "heil"), oft mit Knochenabsplitterungen. Aber auch die Sehnen / Bänder selbst können durch Überbelastung ausfasern und an Stabilität verlieren. In der Summe reicht dann schon eine Kleinigkeit (Umknicken, Tritt im Rennen, Sturz etc.) um eine schwere Verletzung folgen zu lassen . Schmerzen, die über einen längeren Zeitraum ignoriert, "niedergekämpft" oder gar betäubt werden sind sehr problematisch, viele Athleten sind diesbezüglich nicht gut aufgeklärt.
