Ich bin auch der Meinung das mehr Leute hätten starten sollen. Natürlich war es auch pech das mit kaul, freimuth und abele 3 top leute schwer verletzt ausfallen und normalerweise ist die DM ja eine randerscheinung, aber gerade der mehrkampf klagt ja immer darüber keine Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen und dann fällt schon die ganze Saison aus und man nutzt die einzige Chance nicht sich dem Publikum zu präsentieren und das sonntags zur besten Sendezeit. Da hätte die DM eine Art Ersatz götzis sein können.
mehrkämpfer haben ja wirklich keinen harten schedule mit 1-3 mehrkämpfen im Jahr (im Vergleich mit Fußballern und tennisspielern , aber auch im Vergleich mit anderen Leichtathleten). Klar natürlich kann man nur begrenzt zehnkämpfe machen, aber da lassen sich viele mehrkämpfer imo auch zu sehr bitten.
man muss dem Fernsehen und dem Zuschauer in der heutigen Zeit auch ein wenig entgegenkommen und da sehe ich auch eine gewisse Arroganz in der mehrkampfszene nach dem Motto der MK ist toll wie er ist, wir sind der König der Athleten und die Zuschauer sind nur zu dumm das zu erkennen.
1-2 Wettkämpfe sind nicht genug um wirklich Fans zu binden (die wm, em, os ist ein selbstläufer), da müssten die Top mehrkämpfer sich aggressiver dafür einsetzen z.b. öfter in mini mehrkämpfen aufzutreten und auch regeländerungen sollte man diskutieren (ich Rede gar nicht von gundersen, aber z.b von Stab gesamtversuche begrenzen, damit das nicht 2 Stunden dauert). Da ist die MK Szene imo zu arrogant, man startet nur wenn es perfekt in die Vorbereitung passt und erwartet das sich Zuschauer und Medien anpassen und nicht umgekehrt.
