Insgesamt muss man festhalten, dass Effekte von Foam Rolling sowohl in der Therapie als auch im Sport nur sehr wenig untersucht sind und es keine wissenschaftlich begründeten Belastungsnormative oder Anwendungskriterien gibt. Die hier zum Teil abenteuerlichen Aussagen verdeutlichen dies. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt sollte man sich mit der Beurteilung ob richtig oder falsch eingesetzt zumindest zurückhalten, da man es einfach noch nicht sagen kann.
