Das hatten wir ja in der Halle über 3000m. Da waren es Klosterhalfen, Reh und noch 5 weitere oder so. Das sah selbst in der Halle etwas dürftig aus.
ca. 30 finde ich gar nicht so schlecht als Feld (wenn auch für 5000m ein bißchen viel). Wir hatten das ja vor einiger Zeit schon mal nach der Normverschärfung. Die techn. Disziplinen sind ja schon länger ohne Quali, d.h. da sind es dann eher 12-16 TN.
Man muss sich halt überlegen, wie man die Balance zwischen DM als Saisonziel für die ca. top 20-50, die wenige Chancen auf internat. Einsätze haben und Selbstdarstellung der dt. Spitzen-LA hinkriegt (auf letzteres haben einige wie Chr. Harting ja auch keinen Bock).
Im Streaming-Zeitalter muss auch nicht alles im TV kommen, daher hätte ich gar kein Problem mit 40-50 TN in den Sprints und entsprechend Vor- und Zwischenläufen und mit einer Quali am Freitag für die techn. Disziplinen. Und das könnte man dann ggf. so machen wie bei der Hallen-EM?, dass nur die besten 8 die Quali überstehen. Damit würde der eigentliche WK noch kompakter, aber es könnten mehr als 16 bei der DM teilnehmen. Aber drei Tage DM (die auch mehr Doppelstarts ermöglichen würde) ist anscheinend nicht gewünscht.
Lässt man techn. Disziplinen ohne Quali sind ca. 16 eine sinnvolle Obergrenze
Sinnvolle Ziel-TN für die Läufe wären m.E. 48 für Sprints/Hürden (da gäbe es dann bis zu 6 VL und 3 Runden), 32 für 400m/H, 40 für 800/1500 (bis zu 4 VL) und ca. 24 für 5000m/Hindernis ohne VL. Die Langstreckenläufer, die das nicht schaffen, sollen halt bei 10k Straße und Crosslauf mit Massenstart antreten. Klar wäre es damit in manchen Disziplinen härter, eine DM-Teilnahme zu erreichen und das würde auch nicht exakt mit der Dichte und Breite, die nunmal im Sprint größer ist als beim Hammerwurf korrelieren, aber das wäre dann halt so.
