Das hatte ich Kipruto nach der Verletzungsgeschichte nicht zugetraut, Hut ab. Schade, dass es kein Happy End für Kemboi gab, seine Zeit ist wohl endgültig vorbei.
Hätte Jager das Rennen vielleicht früher oder noch schneller machen müssen? Nach der 56er-Runde bei den US-Trials hat er wohl gedacht, er hat die Kenianer auch im kurzen Spurt im Griff.

Dann hätte er sich aber mehr zurückhalten können. Ich denke er hat Angst bekommen vor Kipruto und wollte ihn daher abhängen ... hätte ja auch sein können dass Kipruto die Ausdauer fehlt.
