mal eine provokante These: Während in den Ballsportarten das Mentaltraining längst seinen feste Platz gefunden hat, ist das in der Leichtathletik noch nicht ganz angekommen. Es gibt einzelne Athleten, die es auf eigene Faust nutzen. Aber das Ganze wird nicht so strukturiert und konsequent angegangen wie das Training des Körpers.
Ich finde, insbesondere in der U20-EM schlagen sich die Defizite im psychologischen Bereich sehr deutlich nieder. Es gibt viel Scheitern und wenn man sich die Berichte mal unter diesem Aspekt durchliest, merkt man, dass es fast immer am Kopf liegt. Das sind alles Probleme, die man mit der richtigen mentalen Vorbereitung nicht hätte.

Ich finde, es wird Zeit, dass der DLV auch im Bereich Mentaltraining aufwacht und sich auf einen aktuellen Stand bringt!
