@longbottom :Alles völlig richtig! Aber seit Anfang der 90er Jahre ist der WR schließlich auch sukzessive mittlerweile um mehr als 200P gestiegen. Allein deshalb wären für mich schon bei den letzten WMs/OGs höhere Punktezahlen erwartbar gewesen (Zumindest für die Drittplazierten). Vllt. geht Budapest noch "unter Wert" weg, weil etliche Athleten eher Richtung Paris aufbauen bzw. altersbedingt noch vom Peak weg sind.
Aber es zeichnet sich eine Konstellation ab, wo die "Platzhirsche" noch punkten, aber etliche Junge rasante Fortschritte machen. Ich denke da an Garland/Owens-Delerme, die für mich mittelfristig sogar 9000er Kandidaten sind. Dann kommen noch die Newcomer wie Ehammer/Neugebauer/Skotheim dazu, denen noch erhebliche Steigerungen zuzutrauen sind. Ich denke (und hoffe es natürlich), dass sich die Grenzen im 10Kampf in naher Zukunft wieder verschieben.
Und bitte nicht falsch verstehen, auch ich würde mich für Kaul und den dt. MK sehr freuen, wenn es bei der WM top läuft. Aber ich glaube, das ist für ihn eher eine Zwischenstation. Das eigentliche Ziel ist sicherlich eher Paris und daraufhin wird er seinen Aufbau auch dosieren.
