Wie die IAAF auf diesen Murks gekommen ist? Jeder anständige Statistiker führt den Beweis, dass die Gundersen Methode nichts bringen kann - weil die Differenzen zwischen Rang 1-5 viel zu gross sind. Das sind hunderte von Punkten. Ein guter 1500 m Läufer bringt so eine 4.25 (Mittelwert +) ein Mittelmässiger 4.35. Top Läufe mit unter 4.20 sind komplett selten. Läufe mit 4.36 reichten Mayer für den Weltrekord !!!. Hardy reichten Werte von 4.40 und mehr für WM Siege. Abweichungen von 1-3 Sekunden bringen so 20- max 40 Punkte.
In Götzis wäre es nur 2015 vielleicht knapper geworden. Ansonsten Differenzen von mehr als 200 Punkten.
