Björn Otto hat ja Biologie studiert und hat seinen Abschluß dann nach beinahe der doppelten Studienzeit gemacht (das fand ich übrigens bewundernswert).
Es ist also nicht so einfach Hochleistungssportler und Student in einem naturwissenschaftlichen Fach zu sein.
Dazu wäre Grauvogel besser in den USA geblieben.
Für Zahlenspiele hat man bei Mehrkämpfern natürlich immer viel Luft. Es muss aber nicht immer mit den Steigerungen so weitergehen. Weder Lückenkemper noch Mayer noch Krause noch Klosterhalfen haben sich dieses Jahr so gesteigert, wie nicht nur extreme Optimisten nach der letzten Saison erwartet haben (und aus unterschiedlichen Ursachen). Bei anderen Siebenkämpferinnen wie Leffler oder Weißenberg hat man mitunter eher den Eindruck von "Zickzackkursen"...
