Was ich mit Blick auf das damals veröffentlichte Training auch durchaus für realistisch gehalten habe. Leider konnte er es am Tag X nicht auf die Straße bringen und jetzt ist es dafür wohl tatsächlich zu spät.
Erschien mir auch realistisch an einem perfekten Tag. Mal sehen was noch geht, ein paar richtig gute Rennen könnten noch drin sein.
Jedenfalls denke ich dass auch Europäer, auch ohne afrikanische Wurzeln und ohne Hochlandgeburt, clean 2h04 laufen können. Steve Jones wäre auch so ein Kandidat gewesen neben Lopez.
Ich denke dass alle Weltrekordleistungen der Männer von 800 aufwärts clean erzielt werden könnten - was nicht heißt, dass die aktuellen WR clean erzielt worden sein müssen, da können dennoch welche gedopt erzielt worden sein, abere andere hätten, würden oder werden das clean schaffen. Und auch wenn mir von einigen fdafür in jedem Fall Naivität unterstellt werden wird: Nein, damit hat es nichts zut tun. Z. B. 47,6 über 400 geht für Frauen mit "normalen" Testowerten ohne Doping sehr wahrscheinlich nicht, auch bezgl der WR Kugel Männer und in den Würfe der Frauen halte ich für eher unwahrscheinlich, dass diese Leistungen je clean erreicht werden können. Läufe Frauen ab 800 aufwärts wird es clean wieder realistischer, gerade die Langstrecken wurden ja lange Zeit kaum gelaufen und sind noch unterentwickelt.
Bei Gabius kam der Leistungsprung auch dann, als er sich nach dem Medizinstuidum stärker dem Laufen widmen konnte. Sowas sollte man nicht unterschätzen.
Es würde der Leichtathletik gut tun, wenn sich die Fans und Aktive mehr Gedanken über andere Faktoren für herausragende Leistungen Gedanken machen anstatt ständig nur über Doping zu spekulieren. Canovas Ideen bzgl Erziehung und Geisteshaltung halte ich da für sehr brauchbar.
