Vielleicht solltest du als in die Jahre gekommener Jüngere an die Arbeit lassen, deren Meinung noch nicht in Zement gegossen ist.
Falls es dich interessiert (auch wenn es nicht in dein Bild von mir passt) - ich orientiere mich zum größeren Teil an best practice und zum kleineren Teil an Theorie. Auch die Idee mit Mentaltraining habe ich daher bekommen, dass ich Zeitungsartikel gelesen habe, in denen erfolgreiche Sportler aus dem Bereich Gerätturnen (Deutschland), Schwimmen oder Leichtathletik (USA) Mentaltraining erfolgreich nutzen und auch Einblicke bekommen habe. Außerdem habe ich (nicht-wissenschaftliche) Bücher von Sport-Mentaltrainern gelesen, die aus Erfahrung geschrieben haben. Wir haben in der Bibliothek einige Bücher dazu, wenn ich dahin komme, kann ich mal ein zwei Buchempfehlungen geben.
Du stempelst nur alles, das bisher noch nicht üblich ist, als unnütze Theorie ab, ohne zu wissen, ob ich tatsächlich durch theoretische Überlegungen zu dieser Ansicht gekommen bin. Das gegenüber Mentaltraining in Deutschland noch viele Vorurteile herschen und es allgemein noch nciht akzeptiert ist, ist übrigens Konsens unter denen, die sich damit auskennen. In den USA ist man z.B. weiter, dort ist es normal, dass Individualsportler mit Mentaltrainern zusammenarbeiten. In Deutschland stößt man (wie auch in diesem Forum) hingegen auf eine Wand.
Da ich es leid bin, dieselbe unnütze Überzeugungsarbeit für Ewiggestrige zu leisten, die ich in anderen Threads versucht habe, zu leisten (z.B. Sprinttechnik, Sprintkrafttraining etc.), ziehe ich mich aus der Diskussion zurück.
Ich möchte mit dem Thread einen Gedankenanstoß gegeben haben, sich mit dem Thema zu beschäftigen. Dann kann sich jeder Trainer oder Athlet eine eigene Meinung dazu bilden.
