@icheinfachma, ich habe hier keinen Feldzug gegen das Mentaltraining zu führen, ABER der wichtigste Aspekt wird gar nicht genannt: Die Initiative und Motivation muss vom Athleten ausgehen! Ein guter Sportpsychologe kann einem Athleten helfen bestimmte Probleme in den Griff zu bekommen, aber die Chemie zwischen beiden muss wie bei jeder Form der Therapie stimmen.
Ein (Sport-)Trainer vermittelt Techniken, steuert das Training und den Formaufbau und diese lassen sich erlernen, auch wenn man den Trainer nicht mag.
Ein "Mentaltraining" unterliegt aber anderen Kriterien, viele Athleten benötigen es im Gegensatz zum technischen Training gar nicht! Und die Athleten, die es benötigen bedürfen mehr als nur ein paar "mentaltechnische" Anleitungen…
Mentaltraining als generalsstabsmäßige durchgeführte Maßname ist für mich Ressourcenverschwendung, dies muss eine individuelle Angelgenheit bleiben - es spricht allerdings nichts dagegen, dass der Verband hier unterstützend wirkt.
Interessant wäre aber eine belastbare Untersuchung, in wieweit oder welchen Fällen (anonymisiert) ein solches Mentaltraining hilft die Leistung zu verbessern oder im richtigen Moment zu erbringen… (auch wenn der Nachweis hier schwer zu erbringen sein wird)
