Carl Lewis z.B. hat sich in seiner Glanzzeit mal für eine TV Sendung über die 880y (804,32m) versucht und kam nicht unter 2:16 min.
Und auch Wariner, bei dem viele ob seiner schlanken Statur annahmen, dass er erfolgreich auf die 800 m wechseln könnte, ist dort nie richtig angekommen - auch Sprinter.
van Niekerk habe ich nie als Zehnkämpfer gesehen, er ist Sprinter. Dennoch bin ich neugierig von welcher Distanz an er nachläßt.
Der (inoffizielle) WR über 500 m steht z.B. bei 59,32 s, schafft er das?
Die blöde Mixed Staffel Idee kann man mir schenken, aber einen Läufermehrkampf über mehrere Strecken, wie beim Eisschnelllauf fände ich dagegen superspannend!
