(Ich habe diese Diskussion immer wieder mitgemacht und ja, es sprechen defnitiv Fakten für eine schnelle Bahn, wobei "schnell" bei einer passiven Bahn merkwürdig klingt, aber hart, wenig Energie schluckend, elastisch für den Rebound, griffig etc. schon korrekt sind)
Konkret sprechen die jedes Jahr erreichten Zeiten eine deutliche Sprache, die Bahn hat auch oft Rückenwind bei warmen Temperaturen, es finden sich immer schnelle Leute ein, die die Konkurrenzsituation noch beflügeln, die Psyche der Erwartungshaltung (schnelle Bahn, gute Bedingungen, fast alle haben ihre PB hier erzielt etc.) und ein günstiger Zeitpunkt für ein erstes Jahreshoch passen einfach.
Wer viel auf verschiedenen Bahnen gelaufen ist kennt dass, einige fühlen sich "weich" an, andere "hart", einige geben nach, andere kaum wieder andere federn regelrecht. Die Unterschiede sind gering, aber bei den geringen Zeitunterschieden, die gut von sehr gut unterscheiden ist das schon bedeutend. Nicht umsonst werden bei großen internationalen Meisterschaften öfter auch neue Bahnen verlegt, zum einen altert das Material, was häufig "langsamer" macht, zum anderen versuchen die Hersteller die optimalen Bedingungen für die perfekte Bahn zu ermitteln und zu nutzen. (Zeitpunkt, Temperaturen, Feuchtigkeit am Tage des Verlegens, Untergrund etc. haben alle Einfluss auf das Endergebnis, selbst wenn der eigentliche Belag theoretisch identisch ist > so Mondo)
