In einer Dopingkultur (=Russland), in der bereits 2:08-Läuferinnen UM nehmen und die Trainer allen Ernstes die Ansicht verbreiten, dass es unmöglich ist, ohne UM unter 2:00 zu laufen (s. Aussagen von Julia Stepanova), ist natürlich davon auszugehen, dass jede schnelle Läuferin dort UM genommen hat.
Es ist aber nicht zulässig, daraus zu folgern, dass keine dieser Läuferinnen oder sogar grundsätzlich niemand die Zeiten dieser Läuferinnen auch ohne UM erreichen kann.

Muir selbst hat sich nach Rio eigentlich Recht zufrieden gezeigt. Aber von außen betrachtet hat sie natürlich taktische Fehler gemacht und wäre vermutlich besser damit gefahren, das Rennen von Anfang an schnell zu machen.
