Gemeint ist, dass Sportler, die gedopt haben nicht noch zusätzlich mit Belohnungen hofiert werden sollten – auch wenn sie zur Aufdeckung eines verbrecherischen Systems beigetragen haben. Ein Kronzeuge kann vielleicht straffrei bleiben und ggf. staatlichen Zeugenschutz bekommen, er sollte aber nicht auf einen Schild gehoben, als Held präsentiert und öffentlich geehrt/belohnt werden!
Stepanova ist als Whistleblowerin in den westlichen Medien bereits zur Ikone stilisiert worden und profitiert davon sicherlich auch finanziell! Sie aus Gründen der Symbolik und ohne aktuelleren sportlichen Nachweis (das Gegenteil hat sie in Amsterdam geliefert!) bei Olympia starten zu lassen empfinde ich nicht nur persönlich/moralisch als sehr fragwürdig, sondern der Schuss könnte auch nach hinten losgehen. „Schau mal, wie langsam die Stepanova ist, jetzt wo sie nicht mehr gedopt ist. Und warum sind die anderen Läuferinnen eigentlich so schnell? Oh, die Leichtathleten, nein, die Sportler in Rio sind doch letztlich alle gedopt! Was soll das überhaupt mit Olympia, ist doch nur noch eine kommerzielle Farce und eine Veranstaltung von Betrügern; abschaffen!!…“
