Es war vorab klar, dass das IOC mit der Entscheidung pro oder contra Stepanova so oder so zunächst ein Zeichen setzt, wo es selbst im Antidopingkampf steht. Bei einem "pro" wäre dann die Frage einer sportlichen Qualifikation zu klären gewesen. Und das IOC hat ein Zeichen gesetzt, wo es steht, insbesondere mit dem Satz, dass Stepanova die ethischen Kriterien nicht erfüllt. Da man davon ausgehen kann, dass die sich ihre Wortwahl genau überlegt und in alle Richtungen abgestimmt haben, bedeutet dies ganz klar:
- Leute, die Doping-Praktiken aufdecken, sind ethisch nicht geeignet, zu "unserer" Olympia-Familie zu gehören.
Und nicht mal so versehentlich im Nebensatz, sondern vorsätzlich! Noch deutlicher geht's nicht mehr. Und darüber muss man sich wirklich aufregen.
