Die Wettkampfdauer im Stabhoch / Hochsprung könnte man allerdings etwas kürzen, in dem ( wie im Gewichtheben! ) jeder Athlet z.B. 4 Höhen auswählen kann, die er dann mit je 3 Versuchen springen kann.
erlebte ich das zu meiner Überraschung mit den 3 od. 4? (voranzukündenden) Versuchen zum ersten Mal. Als Leichtathtlet war mir das neu.
Generell soll hier aber wohl an einer "Neuerung" festgehalten werden, die dem Druck der TV-Anstalten nachgibt. Beim Weitsprung
kommt es doch gerade in den letzten Versuchen zu den spannendsten Zwei- oder Dreikämpfen; wenn dann nur noch vier Athleten mitmachen ... Schade! Und unnötig, weil weder zeitsparend noch spannungsfördernd.
