Im Sommer wird dies nicht passieren. Der DLV müsste dazu bis zum 04.07 alle Athleten ohne Norm der IAAF melden. Die IAAF würde dann die Einladungen an die bestplatzierten nicht qualifizierten Athleten verschicken. Da aber die Nominierungskriterien mit verschiedenen Gremien, wie z.B. DOSB, abgestimmt worden sind und wir im unflexiblen Deutschland leben, wird dies mit Sicherheit nicht der Fall sein. Eher werden Cindy Roleder und Gesa Krause Olympiasiegerinnen.
In den Nominierungsrichtlinien des DOSB für die Leichtathletik ist eine Einladung der IAAF aber ausdrücklich vorgesehen:

Einladung der IAAF als “best ranked athlete” innerhalb der Maximalquote des NOK pro Disziplin. Hierfür publiziert die IAAF am 12.07.2016 die spezifische „IAAF World Ranking List for Olympic Games Qualification“. Ausgenommen hiervon sind die Disziplinen 5000m, 10.000m, Gehen und Marathon.
