Andererseits muss ich sagen, dass sich die Sportlehrer an unserer Schule, die alle zu DDR-Zeiten studiert hatte und eine sehr gründliche Ausbildung in den verschiedenen Sportarten erhielten, sich in Leichtathletik auch nicht besonders auskannten, nur in den Ballsportarten. Die Leichtathletik war neben dem Gerätturnen die mit Abstand unbeliebestes Sportart unter meinen Mitschülern, Ballsportarten hingegen wurden geliebt, auch von denen, die nicht Fußball spielten. Selbst unser Sportlehrer strich in einem Schuljahr einfach die Leichtathletik mit den Worten "Ich denke, ihr seid mir nicht böse, wenn wir uns die Leichtathletik einfach sparen", was unter meinen Mitschülern auf große Zustimmung stieß und mich damals sehr geärgert hat. Ein anderer Lehrer in einem andern SChuljahr tat dasselbe mit Gerätturnen, das war in der 10. Klasse. Stattdessen spielten wir dann jede Stunde diverse Ballsportarten und der Lehrer machte sich einen Ruhigen.
Das komplette Gegenteil bei uns. Obwohl selbst ohne leichtathletischen Hintergrund hielt unser Sportlehrer die Leichtathletik für essentiell im Rahmen des Schulsports. Es ging bei Wind und Wetter raus auf den Sportplatz zum Cooper Test. Im Winter viel Kugelstoßen in der Halle, im Sommer Sprint und Sprung draußen.
Da man sich ja an die Tabelle halten muss, resultierten hieraus ein Haufen schlechte Noten, daraus ein Haufen verärgerte Schüler und daraus etliche wütende Eltern gegen die man sich am Elternabend verteigen musste. Sehr schade, aber für mich verständlich, dass andere Lehrer das nicht so handhaben.
