Ich hab mir den Spaß gemacht und nachstehende E-Mail am 4.9. an Thomas Kurschilgen geschickt. Einer Antwort wurde ich (wie erwartet) nicht gewürdigt. Jemand anders mit mehr Erfolg?

In verschiedenen Disziplinen ist es zu einer teilweise deutlichen
Verschärfung der vom Weltverband IAAF gesetzten Normen gekommen.
Im Fachforum leichtathletikforum.com hat ein Nutzer eine Aufstellung
gemacht, in der die vom DLV/DOSB gesetzten Normen mit den daraus
resultierenden Platzierungen in der bereinigten Weltjahresbestenliste
und dem in Peking nötigen Ergebnis für Platz 12 in der jeweiligen
Disziplin (=erweiterte Endkampfchance) gegenübergestellt wurden.

Dabei zeigten sich einige Auffälligkeiten, die ich mit der von Ihnen
gemachten Aussage in obigem Artikel
"Die Normanforderungen [...]stellen im interdisziplinären Vergleich
eine große Ausgewogenheit dar" nicht in Einklang bringen kann.
So belegt man beispielsweise mit den geforderten 10,14 Sekunden (2/100
schneller als IAAF-Norm) im 100m-Sprint der Männer Platz 39 der
bereinigten Bestenliste. Die um 30 Sekunden verschärfte Norm im
10000m-Lauf der Frauen führt hingegen zu Platz 18.
Im Kugelstoßen der Frauen liegt man mit der verschärften DOSB-Norm
sogar auf Platz 15.
Diese deutliche Diskrepanz scheint mir mit den im Artikel genannten
Kriterien zur Normfindung nicht erklärlich.
Wäre es Ihnen möglich, den Prozess der Normfindung transparenter zu
machen und die detaillierten Kritierien darzulegen, nach denen es zu
diesen Unterschieden kam.
Nach aktuellem Informationsstand entsteht gewiss nicht nur bei mir der
Eindruck einer gewissen Willkür bzw. Ungerechtigkeit bei der
Normfindung, der aber wahrscheinlich mit Zusatzinformationen leicht
zerstreut werden könnte.
Über eine Antwort würde ich mich sehr freuen und verbleibe mit
