Der Sinn der Trainingslager ist doch nicht, im Mai in der Karibik ne 38.0 zu laufen. Der Saisonhöhepunkt, auf den die Vorbereitung ausgerichtet sein sollte, findet im August statt, da werden wir sehen, ob sich der Aufwand gelohnt hat. Wobei die ganzen Normen (und die Zeiten der letzten zwei Jahre), die sie gelaufen sind, schon darauf hindeuten, dass die Trips in die USA was bringen.
Ich würde eher die Trainingslager der 400m Läufer in Frage stellen, jedes Jahr gabs die Berichte aus Südafrika/Teneriffa usw. und jedes Jahr laufen sie wieder den gleichen Senf. 45er Zeiten sind absolute Ausnahmen, bei den Frauen kommt man mit ner 53 schon in die Staffel, dafür lohnt sich der Aufwand nun wirklich nicht. Und jedes Jahr liest man von den Bundestrainern wieder, dass sie für nächstes Jahr Steigerungen erwarten, die dann nie kommen.
