Da ist "Laufen wie Flasche leer" der Normalzustand, und "schneller angehen" (um eine schnellere Zeit zu erreichen), heißt fast immer "schöner sterben".
Alle Sprinter-Springer-Typen und wohl noch mehr die Werfer (falls die überhaupt mitmachten?) haben das schon erlebt. Ich jedenfalls lief bei meinen Zehnkämpfen (als Sportstudent und Jahre später) und als Senior bei den Fünfkämpfen "grottenschlecht" (nie unter 5:05 min. ) Einmal (bei der DM-Sen. in Hanover) stieg ich gar muskulär bedingt (Adduktoren ) aus. - "Schöner sterben" nach "schnellem angehen" wollte ich nicht.
