Ich habe eine Statistik auf Basis der Deutschen Bestenlisten seit 2003, in der die Weiten der U20 Athleten, die in einem Wettkampfjahr sowohl ein Ergebnis mit der 6er als auch mit der 7,25er stehen haben, einander gegenübergestellt werden. Bei insgesamt 84 einbezogenen Athleten kommen folgende Unterschiede heraus:
mittlere Stoßweite 6,0: 17,94 +/- 1,32 m
mittlere Stoßweite 7,25: 15,66 +/- 1,09 m
mittlere Differenz: +2,28 +/- 0,68 m; +12,6 %
Eine alte Faustregel besagt, dass pro 250g Kugelgewicht etwa 40-50 cm Zuwachs/Verlust an Weite zu erwarten sind. Die Zahlen spiegeln das insgesamt gut wieder.
Die Betrachtung der Einzelwerte zeigt jedoch zwischen den Athleten z.T. deutliche Abweichungen von der mittleren Differenz. Das könnte einerseits darin begründet sein, dass nicht jeder U20 Athlet die 7er Leistung in Bestform erzielt hat bzw. die 7er zu unterschiedlichen Anteilen im Training eingesetzt wurde. Andererseits realisieren schnelle und langsamere Typen per se schon unterschiedliche Differenzen mit unterschiedlich schweren Kugeln.
Interessant: Die größte Differenz zwischen 6er und 7,25er stammt aus dem Jahr 2008 und liegt bei 4,99 m (19,75 zu 14,76 m). Drei mal dürft ihr raten, welchem Athleten diese Differenz zuzuordnen ist.
