Ich bin trotzdem der Meinung, dass das eine falsche Entscheidung ist und Deutschland einzig mit einer Berlin-Bewerbung eine Chance auf Olympia hat. Hamburg ist meiner Meinung nach schlichtweg zu klein und ist, im Vergleich etwa zu Paris, Rom oder Istanbul, keine internationale Metropole. Berlin ist die einzige Stadt in Deutschland, die wirklich internationales Renommé hat. Außerdem hat Hamburg so gut wie gar keine Erfahrung im Ausrichten internationaler Sport-Großereignisse. Und - mit ihrer Hamburg-Entscheidung widersprechen sich die Funktionäre mal wieder selbst - dort muss nämlich nun wirklich alles neu gebaut werden. Von 'kleinen sparsamen' Spielen kann da keine Rede sein - und was soll eine Stadt wie Hamburg hinterher mit all den Einrichtungen anfangen?
Trotzdem fände ich es schön, wenn mal wieder Olympia nach Deutschland käme, mit der Entscheidung für Hamburg sind die Chancen dafür allerdings deutlich gesunken.
ja es geht um die Akzeptanz in der Bevölkerung, gerade nach dem Flughafen Fiasko hat man vermutlich in Berlin im Moment die Nase voll von Großprojekten.
mit kleinen spielen hast du natürlich recht, habe gestern im Radio auch was lustiges gehört, der Herr hatte erzählt, dass alles im umkreis von 10KM stattfinden soll, damit alle Events per Fahrrad erreicht werden können was ja wahnsinnig umweltfreundlich wäre. natürlich muss man dann eine weitere Anlage bauen, obwohl vielleicht in 20 km Entfernung schon eine steht, aber auch daran wurde gedacht. aus der Schwimmanlage könnte man danach ein Spaßbad machen und das Olympiastadion würde danach einfach auf 20K Zuschauer zurückgebaut (mit einem Olympiastadion kann man ja wegen der lästigen Laufbahn nicht viel anfangen).
Dennoch finde ich prinzipiell eine deutsche Bewerbung gut, solche Großereignisse sind halt ein riesenaufwand und "kleine, grüne Spiele" wird es unter dem IOC (wie auch der FIFA oder UEFA) nicht geben, denn wir leben ja nicht in einer Blase, wenn wir so ein Konzept vorstellen ist das ja eine nette Idee, aber das hält andere Länder ja nicht davon ab ein Megaevent zu versprechen und dagegen sieht man halt mit ner kleinen Lösung ziemlich alt aus.
