Ich hab mir mal die Mühe gemacht und die Mehrkämpfe der Hallen-EM auf die Gundersenmethode überprüft. Dazu habe ich die Punkte vor dem abschliessenden Lauf genommen, die Zeit der Mehrkampfsieger als Zeit X genommen und daraus den Startrückstand berechnet. Sowohl im männlichen als auch weiblichen Bereich bringt bei den Zeiten von Shkurenyov und Johnson-Thompson eine Sekunden ungefähr 10 Punkte.
Daraus folgt:
weiblich
JT wäre mit 14,7 Sekunden Vorsprung vor der Zweiten gestartet. Bei ihrem Lauftempo sind das immerhin 87m. Schon die siebente Athletin (Fyodorova) hätte eine komplette Runde Rückstand gehabt. Bei Netsviatayeva wären es schon fast zwei Runden gewesen.
männlich
S. wäre mit 17,6 Sekunden Vorsprung vor Arthur gestartet. Bei seinem Lauftempo sind das immerhin 106m. Schon der sechste Athlet (Querin) hätte eine komplette Runde Rückstand gehabt. Bei Netsviatayeva wären es schon fast zwei Runden gewesen. Und Braun hätte, bedingt durch seine Null im Stab, 2:24min später starten dürfen. Sprich der führende wäre 120m vor dem Ziel und der letzte Starter läuft gerade erst los.
Und diese Abstände kommen schon bei den Hallenmehrkämpfen unter den absoluten Profis vor, wie soll das erst draußen aussehen wo es ja mehr Disziplinen gibt. Und wie sollen solche Unterschiede bei Hobbysportlern (den die betrifft es ja genauso) aussehn?
Dazu habe ich mal die Mitteldeutschen Meisterschaften dieses Jahr in der Halle genommen (Grund: ich war selber vor Ort, man hätte aber auch andere Meisterschaften nehmen können).
Dort hätte der führende 42 Sekunden Vorsprung auf den Zweiten gehabt und über 3:20min auf den Dritten. D.h. der Führende wäre schon fast 30Sekunden im Ziel gewesen, da wäre der Dritte gerade erst los gelaufen.
Wenn man also nur den Profibereich betrachtet kommen schon ganz schöne Abstände zusammen, wenn man dann aber noch die Hobbyathleten anschaut sind das schon aberwitzige Verhältnise.
