From an athlete's point of view, I can't understand what's interesting about it. We lose all the skills we need for the long jump. I doubt whether it's better for the spectators…

So we change the size of the goal to increase the amount of successful shots?? No, longjump is and should be the summary of a fast and exact approach and good jump. This idea can only come from people of WA who just see events from the VIP- area while having champagne and finger food……

This will not change the distances and fouling the way they think. The event is far more complicated than this. I applaud the athletes with the integrity to not compete. This a completely different event.
