Das stimmt so nicht. Vor Jahren wurde Tony Lester für den 400m-Sprint geholt. Hoffen wir mal, dass Lorang mehr bewirken kann.
Tony Lester war/ist ein sehr guter 400m Trainer, besser als alle, die sich in Deutschland Trainer nennen dürfen. Aber wenn man solche Fachleute nur als "Berater" ohne jegliche Kompetenzen einstellt und die Disziplintrainer weiter den alten Stiefel trainieren lassen, wird sich nichts ändern, gilt auch für Lorang.
Laviai Nielsen wechselte vor dieser Saison zu Tony Lester und verbesserte sich bei ihm von 50,83s auf 49,87s. Lester arbeitet inzwischen für den dänischen Verband und darf trotzdem ausländische Athleten trainieren.
